The hotel and residential complex will be managed by Brazil's luxury hotel operator, Fasano. Fasano, which has three hotels in Brazil, one in Uruguay and 15 restaurants, will replace Morgans Hotel Group as operator. There are also plans for a Fasano hotel in New York City. Once the property renovations have completed, the complex will be renamed Fasano Hotel and Residences at Shore Club. The redesign of the Shore Club is by architect Isay Weinfeld, and lanscaping is by Enzo Enea.
New York developer Ziel Feldman’s HFZ Capital Group acquired the 309-room hotel property in 2014, and the hotel is being partially redesigned with about 75 private residences, and 100 hotel rooms.
