Pinecrest

A village of estate-zoned acre lots south of Coral Gables

About Pinecrest

The Village of Pinecrest incorporated on 12 March 1996 as Miami-Dade's twenty-ninth municipality, covering 7.54 square miles between the Snapper Creek Canal and SW 136th Street, and between US 1 and SW 57th Avenue and Old Cutler Road. Most of it is zoned for estate density: one house per acre in the EU-1 district and one per two and a half acres in EU-1C, with commercial use confined to the US 1 corridor. The area filled in through the 1950s and 1960s with ranch houses on acre lots. Pinecrest Gardens opened in 2003 on the old Parrot Jungle site.

Averages are weighted as total dollars over total square feet. We calculate averages based on closed sales in the MLS for the past 12 months, as of September 16, 2026. Averages are based on properties that are listed or sold for $350,000 and greater. Additional reports at all price points are available here. Price-per-square-foot figures are rounded to the nearest dollar, up or down. Where fewer than 5 closed sales exist in the window, we report the count rather than an average.
