About Palm Bay

Palm Bay is a gated bayfront pocket of the Upper East Side at the foot of NE 69th Street, and the city lists it among the waterfront neighborhoods east of Biscayne Boulevard. It began as the Palm Bay Club, opened over the Fourth of July weekend in 1964 by Connie Dinkler, with a clubhouse, a nine-story condominium building and a marina dredged out of Biscayne Bay. Palm Bay Towers followed in 1972 at 720 NE 69th Street, a Y-shaped tower of 27 stories on 175 feet of waterfront, and the Palm Bay Yacht Club in 1982.

Averages are weighted as total dollars over total square feet. We calculate averages based on closed sales in the MLS for the past 12 months, as of August 21, 2026. Averages are based on properties that are listed or sold for $350,000 and greater. Additional reports at all price points are available here. Price-per-square-foot figures are rounded to the nearest dollar, up or down. Where fewer than 5 closed sales exist in the window, we report the count rather than an average.
