Jupiter Inlet Colony

A single-family town at the south tip of Jupiter Island

About Jupiter Inlet Colony

Jupiter Inlet Colony holds the southern tip of Jupiter Island, on the north side of Jupiter Inlet, where its ground forms the base of the north jetty. Charles Prynne Martyn, who also built Tequesta, laid it out in the 1950s on land partly made from inlet dredge spoil, and the town incorporated in 1959. It covers about a sixth of a square mile and carries roughly 240 platted lots. The zoning code classifies the whole town as single-family residential. The Town of Jupiter Island, further north on the same island, is a separate municipality in Martin County.

Averages are weighted as total dollars over total square feet. We calculate averages based on closed sales in the MLS for the past 12 months, as of July 14, 2026. Averages are based on properties that are listed or sold for $350,000 and greater. Additional reports at all price points are available here. Price-per-square-foot figures are rounded to the nearest dollar, up or down. Where fewer than 5 closed sales exist in the window, we report the count rather than an average.
