Seagate

Three plats on the barrier island south of Atlantic Avenue

About Seagate

Seagate is not one plat but three, recorded as Seagate Section A, Seagate Sub Section B and Seagate Extension, filling the barrier island south of Atlantic Avenue between the Intracoastal Waterway and the ocean. Its streets carry tree and shrub names, Melaleuca, Tamarind, Bauhinia, Bucida, Oleander and Azalea, alongside Seagate Drive, Seasage Drive and Venetian Drive. The oldest parcel sampled here dates from 1959 and the newest plat from the 1970s. The Seagate Hotel on East Atlantic Avenue and the Seagate Beach Club on Ocean Boulevard are separate holdings outside these plats, both built around 2008 under one owner.

Averages are weighted as total dollars over total square feet. We calculate averages based on closed sales in the MLS for the past 12 months, as of August 6, 2026. Averages are based on properties that are listed or sold for $350,000 and greater. Additional reports at all price points are available here. Price-per-square-foot figures are rounded to the nearest dollar, up or down. Where fewer than 5 closed sales exist in the window, we report the count rather than an average.
