Davie

Davie real estate, every home, every condo and every sale, by Mark Zilbert.

About Davie

Davie is a town of about 105,700 residents on 35 square miles of central Broward County, settled in 1909 on reclaimed Everglades land that R. P. Davie bought and first called Zona, and incorporated in 1925. Tequesta campsites on Pine Island Ridge date back 5,000 to 7,000 years. The town keeps a western-themed district, more than 165 miles of trails and the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds, home of the Orange Blossom Festival Rodeo each February. Homes run from suburban neighborhoods to gated ranch estates: Long Lake Ranches on acre lots, Imagination Farms with 422 homes, Rolling Hills Golf & Tennis and the Pine Island Ridge country club. Nova Southeastern University, Broward College's Central Campus and Davie campuses of Florida Atlantic University and the University of Florida are here. Broward County Public Schools runs Western High, Nova High and McFatter Technical High, and private schools include University School of NSU and the David Posnack Jewish Day School. Flamingo Gardens, Tree Tops Park and the Old Davie School museum are local landmarks. Florida's Turnpike, I-595 and I-75 serve the town. We follow Davie's sales and listings from its ranches to its neighborhoods.

Averages are weighted as total dollars over total square feet. We calculate averages based on closed sales in the MLS for the past 12 months, as of October 15, 2026. Averages are based on properties that are listed or sold for $350,000 and greater. Additional reports at all price points are available here. Price-per-square-foot figures are rounded to the nearest dollar, up or down. Where fewer than 5 closed sales exist in the window, we report the count rather than an average.
