Briny Breezes

A mobile home town of 43 acres between Ocean Ridge and Gulf Stream

About Briny Breezes

Briny Breezes is a mobile home park that is also a municipality, 43 acres between the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway with Ocean Ridge to the north and Gulf Stream to the south. Ward Miller, a Michigan lumberman, platted the subdivision in 1925 and let travelers park trailers here through the Depression at three dollars a week. The lot holders bought the land from him in 1958 and incorporated the town in 1963. The corporation owns every parcel and its shareholders own the corporation, while an elected council runs the municipality. A $510 million offer for the whole town collapsed in 2007.

Averages are weighted as total dollars over total square feet. We calculate averages based on closed sales in the MLS for the past 12 months, as of September 11, 2026. Averages are based on properties that are listed or sold for $350,000 and greater. Additional reports at all price points are available here. Price-per-square-foot figures are rounded to the nearest dollar, up or down. Where fewer than 5 closed sales exist in the window, we report the count rather than an average.
