Century Village West Palm Beach is an age restricted (+55 yrs) active adult community with 24 hour security and manned gated entrances. Century Village is situated on 29 acres just East of Florida's Turnpike with its two secure gates, one located on Okeechobee Blvd. and East Drive, and another on Haverhill Road and Century Blvd. The Village boasts 7,854 units in 356 buildings with 309 associations (corporations). There is no master association which is unique in the state of Florida. Rather, the United Civic Organization (UCO) acts as an advisory group to the associations which send delegates to UCO meetings. The community newspaper is the UCO Reporter which is operated by the UCO Board. The clubhouse is not owned by the associations, but by Beneson Capital Partners in New York, and is managed by WPRF, Inc.
