About Central Park West Palm Beach
Alfred H. Wagg of Associated Realty Investors platted this ground about 1919 as the Estates of South Palm Beach, and West Palm Beach annexed it in 1926. It covers roughly 24 acres along South Olive Avenue between Monroe Drive and Southern Boulevard, with the Prospect Park district forming its northern edge. The National Register listed it on 28 July 1999: 155 of its 209 buildings contribute, for a period running about 1922 to 1949. Mission Revival dominates the district, with more than forty examples standing.
