About Miami Lakes

Miami Lakes is a town of about 30,500 residents in northwest Miami-Dade County, incorporated in 2000 as the county's 31st municipality. The land was the Graham family's dairy, started in 1932, and in 1962 the family's company, Sengra, now The Graham Companies, began building to a master plan by Lester Collins, a former dean of Harvard's design school. Lake Patricia, named for William Graham's wife, came first, and the community had 450 houses by 1965; today 23 lakes and more than 100 parks run through the town. Neighborhoods include Loch Lomond beside the golf course, Royal Oaks, Lake Martha, Lake Sandra, Loch Ness Estates and Royal Lakes, and Main Street is the town center, where Town Hall was completed in 2013. Its owner-occupied homes have a Census median of about $626,400. Miami-Dade County Public Schools runs Barbara Goleman Senior High in the town, and Our Lady of the Lakes is a Catholic school here. The Palmetto Expressway crosses the town, I-75 runs along its west side and the Gratigny along its south, and Miami International is about 10 miles away. We follow the town's lake neighborhoods and their sales.

Averages are weighted as total dollars over total square feet. We calculate averages based on closed sales in the MLS for the past 12 months, as of October 14, 2026. Averages are based on properties that are listed or sold for $350,000 and greater. Additional reports at all price points are available here. Price-per-square-foot figures are rounded to the nearest dollar, up or down. Where fewer than 5 closed sales exist in the window, we report the count rather than an average.
