About Casa Grande

Casa Grande is a 1923 Mediterranean Revival building at 834 Ocean Drive, across the street from Lummus Park. It runs today as the Casa Grande Suites. August Geiger designed the original building, and a 1958 addition at 840 Ocean Drive by Gilbert Fein joins it at the rear on every floor. Its 38 residences are privately owned condominium suites with full kitchens: 8 studios, 24 one-bedrooms and a handful of two- and three-bedrooms, about 550 to 2,010 SqFt. The building is part of the Miami Beach Architectural District, and the 5-story front faces the ocean across Ocean Drive.
