Golden Beach

An oceanfront town of single-family homes north of Sunny Isles Beach

About Golden Beach

Golden Beach runs along the ocean between Sunny Isles Beach and the Broward County line, about four blocks wide, with the Intracoastal Waterway down its western side. The brothers R. W. and Henry G. Ralston surveyed the strip through their Golden Beach Corporation in the late 1920s, clearing mangrove and hauling in fill, and the town became a legal community on 23 May 1929. Its streets carry Italian names, among them Terracina, Verona, Ravenna, Palermo, Navona and Massini, and three bridged islands sit on the bay side. The town is zoned for houses alone, with no commercial building or high-rise permitted. The 1955 Beach Pavilion is a county designated historic site.

Averages are weighted as total dollars over total square feet. We calculate averages based on closed sales in the MLS for the past 12 months, as of July 27, 2026. Averages are based on properties that are listed or sold for $350,000 and greater. Additional reports at all price points are available here. Price-per-square-foot figures are rounded to the nearest dollar, up or down. Where fewer than 5 closed sales exist in the window, we report the count rather than an average.
