Delray Beach Oceanfront

The A1A shore in Delray Beach, renourished since 1973

About Delray Beach Oceanfront

Delray Beach has renourished its shore since 1973, running eight projects through 2012 under a joint permit with the state and the Army Corps, and the city keeps a dune management plan over the 1.22 miles of municipal beach. The American Shore and Beach Preservation Association named it a best restored beach in 2013, and it has held Blue Flag status since 2023. Three designated historic properties stand along Ocean Boulevard: the Fontaine Fox House, designated in 1989, the Sandoway House of 1936, and Nassau Park, two blocks of 1930s cottages that make the only historic district east of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Averages are weighted as total dollars over total square feet. We calculate averages based on closed sales in the MLS for the past 12 months, as of September 15, 2026. Averages are based on properties that are listed or sold for $350,000 and greater. Additional reports at all price points are available here. Price-per-square-foot figures are rounded to the nearest dollar, up or down. Where fewer than 5 closed sales exist in the window, we report the count rather than an average.
