Miami's Condo Hotels
In recent years,
condo-hotels have become a new way for buyers and
investors to purchase real estate. Many of Miami
Beach's condo-hotels are regular, five-star hotels that
appear to be, well, regular hotels. In fact, in
many condo-hotels the hotel guests don't even realize
that they are staying in someone's condo unit!
It often makes economic sense
for a buyer of real estate to purchase a condo-hotel
rather than a traditional apartment condo. Here
are some reasons why a condo-hotel may be good for you:
- Units are typically sold
fully furnished and equipped
- You can generally use your
condo when you want, and let the hotel rent it out
when you are absent (this may offset your carrying
costs)
- A luxury condo-hotel
normally provides you with a full-service lifestyle,
including room service, bar service, maid service
and resort amenities
- If you participate in the
rental program, the hotel often takes care of minor condo
unit repairs and the replacement of damaged or worn
furniture
